Unvented Hot Water Cylinders

The Building Regulations approved document (section G3) requires an unvented hot water cylinder to be installed and maintained by a competent person. G3 requires specialist knowledge and installation skills to be able to work on such systems. Everon is a fully qualified G3 registered gas engineer and installer.

Flue Gas Analysis

Flue gas analysis is used both for efficiency and emissions purposes. Everon is qualified in this specialist area to undertake flue gas measurements for a heating system and establish if there are any pollutants (e.g., carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide) escaping from the flue. The analysis will also be undertaken to identify any heating energy lost ensuring the atmosphere is contaminated as little as possible by pollutants energy will be as efficient as efficiently as possible.

Landlord Certificates

The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 outline the duties of landlords to ensure gas appliances, fittings and chimneys/flues provided for tenants are safe. As a Landlord you are responsible for the safety of your tenants.
You must:

• make sure equipment is safely installed and maintained by a Gas Safety registered engineer

• have a registered engineer do an annual Gas Safety check on each appliance and flue

• have a copy of the Gas Safety check record
